Liz
Owner
Liz set up the Little Kickers in the Stoke area in 2020, just as the challenges of COVID meant plans had to pause until after lockdown. Once sessions were able to begin, she poured her passion for teaching and working with children into building the programme and growing the Little Kickers community.
With over 20 years of experience in education, Liz progressed through a range of roles during her teaching career, including head of EYFS and most recently as a co head teacher. She has now stepped away from that role to focus her time and energy on developing the Little Kickers business, bringing with her a wealth of experience in leadership, organisation, and supporting children to reach their potential but most importantly to have fun whilst developing their skills.
Outside of Little Kickers, Liz enjoys keeping healthy and active and has a real passion for sport and travelling, having explored many different parts of the world.
Henry
Owner/Head Coach
Henry has been part of Little Kickers since the programme launched in 2020 and has become an integral part of the team over the years. As co-owner alongside Liz, he now helps oversee the day-to-day running of the programme, managing much of the administration while continuing to coach sessions on the weekends.
Henry holds a degree in Computer Science and has experience teaching the subject during the week. He now teaches part-time alongside his work with Little Kickers. With a passion for sport and a strong background in teaching, Henry enjoys helping children develop confidence, coordination, and a love for physical activity. He has experience working with young people of all ages, from toddlers taking their first steps in sport through to teenagers.
Jess
Junior Partner / Lead Coach
Jess has been a key part of the Little Kickers team since 2022 and is now a Lead Coach and Junior Partner. With over seven years of experience as a sport and football coach, she brings great energy and knowledge to every session.
A Sports Science graduate, Jess has always had a passion for football, playing from the age of nine through to her late teens. She continues to stay active and currently enjoys playing badminton. Alongside coaching, Jess also works in healthcare.
Jess is passionate about inspiring young players and helping the next generation of footballers develop confidence, skills, and a love for sport.
