The story so far
It might shock some of you to know that our two founders are females.
At this point there may even be a few of you thinking,‘ what on earth do two mums, however sporty, really know about the cut and thrust of the world’s finest sport?’
OUR FOUNDER’S RIPOSTE WOULD BE THIS:
Even though today’s modern football is a universal language, it’s probably fair for you to assume that:
- Neither of us has ever owned a pair of our own shin pads or goalie’s gloves,
- We don’t have any impressive stud scars on our legs and
- We can’t even tell you who won the FA Cup back in 1953.
We are however two hard-working mums who know all about the day-to-day adventure of keeping our children suitably stimulated and entertained.
Although Little Kickers was born out of our deep-seated frustration concerning the serious shortage of invigorating activities for enthusiastic pre-schoolers, we’ve always made sure that we didn’t let our new footy business sweep us off our feet.
To use that well-worn football cliché we decided early on to play to our strengths. This involved speaking to people who really knew their stuff, building a brand around ‘fun first’ and only recruiting enthusiastic, child friendly coaches with a first class grasp and love of all things football. |
