Wedding Bells for Little Kickers in Cumbria!

Saturday 16^th May 2009 was an emotional day for Little Kickers franchisee Scott Cormack – he married his fiancée Niki at Crosthwaite Church, near Kendal, Cumbria. Scott has been a franchisee since late 2007 – his first Little Kickers class was in Kendal in February ’08.

On their big day the newly weds were attended outside the church by a squad of Little Kickers, including Leon & June Bissland, Archie Catnach, Billy & Toby Braithwaite and James Taylor.

The groom had this to say about his special day: “The mums at my Kendal class are a fantastic bunch and we have got to know each other really well, so it is not unusual for them to be teasing me about one thing or another and with the wedding fast approaching or should I say me wearing a kilt you can imaging the ammunition which I was providing them with...

Teasing is to be expected and I give as good as I get; but I have to say that I was honestly shocked, surprised and amazed that they would go to so much effort to surprise me in the church and to present me with the fantastic card the children had prepared as well as some fantastic gifts from all of the parents.

I think everyone who was at the wedding mentioned how lovely it was to see the children in their kits and what a kind gesture it was. It was a very touching moment which capped off a fantastic day and this is a memory we will both cherish for many years to come.
