Moses Jjunju has been coaching for Little Kickers Romford and Dagenham Franchise for the past year.  Currently playing professionally for Witham following 9 years at West Ham and a year at Lincoln, he was delighted to receive the call to play up front for the Ugandan national squad in the upcoming friendly against Libya on 26th March.

He is leaving London on 13th March to acclimatize (it is currently 35 degrees in Uganda!) and is in an intensive training camp from 17th – 26th to prepare for the match.  He’s hoping to be called up again for the World Cup Qualifiers which take place at the end of May.

Moses has been a coach for Little Kickers for the past year and really enjoys getting involved in the sessions and passing on some of his enthusiasm to the next generation.  He comments “Little Kickers provides kids with a really good head start.  Some people are born with natural skills but for those who are not it’s great to be able to introduce them to the basics of football at a young age.  I regularly see 2 year old kids who are amazing – the way some of them kick the ball is incredible.  Little Kickers really helps their overall understanding of the game and encourages them to develop teamplay skills”.
